RV Manual
Return to Rental Rates Page

We are developing an online Manual so that you may enjoy your RV to it's fullest. This is a work in progress and is subject to change at any given time.  It is also a generic peace of work and is meant only as a general guide, it should not be taken as absolute fact.  Each RV is distinct and individual in it's own right, do not take anything written here literally as it may or may not apply to the exact RV you will be using.  Some information provided in these pages are only suggestions.  Please read Your RV page as we have more helpful information.

Exterior Storage Compartments

Exterior storage compartments maximize available space and should accommodate most of your storage need. All of the storage compartments except the LP gas and generator compartments can be locked. Fire-prevention regulations require that the LP gas and generator compartments be unlocked at all times.

Please note: Your motor home could be out of balance if not property loaded. Please read our Loading and Weight pages for more information, and follow the load & weighing. instructions in that section.

Interior Storage

The closets and cabinets have friction latches along one edge of the door, open the door. Overhead doors may hold them open.

Drawers rest in notches when they are closed. To open, lift up slightly, then pull open.

Closets may be equipped with 12-volt lights that may be switch to turn ON when the closet door is open. Be sure the light goes OFF when the closet door is closed– your battery will be discharged if it stays ON. If the light stays ON, when the door is closed the door switch requires adjustment. When loading inside compartments and closets use same loading procedures as when loading the outside compartments.

Storing Supplies

Always keep tools and equipment stored in a place where they will not shift while traveling.

Whenever possible, place heavy articles in storage compartments that are low and in the location for better weight distribution.

Pack articles carefully in the storage compartments to minimize shifting. If necessary use straps to prevent movement.

Be sure liquid containers are capped. Secure all glass container dishes before traveling.

Exterior storage compartments may not be tight in all climate conditions. Carry any that could be damaged by water ins motor home.

WARNING

DO NOT STORE FLAMMABLE, LIQUIDS OR HAZARDOUS CHEMICAL, SIDE THE MOTOR HOME OR IN 01 STORAGE COMPARTMENTS. TOXIC FROM THESE LIQUIDS OR CHEMICALS ENTER THE INTERIOR OF THE HOME.
