When returning the RV you rented from us, please make sure that it is as clean as your received on your day of departure. Take note that there will be a $35.00 per hour charge for cleaning ($50.00 minimum).  Gasoline tank should be full and holding tanks empty, there is a $45.00 charge for dumping the holding tanks for you.  Propane tank should be full.

Sanitize the Water System

We suggest the following:

  1. Prepare a solution of 1/4-cup household liquid chlorine bleach (5% sodium hypochlorite) to one gallon of water for each 15 gallons of tank capacity.
  2. Close drain valves and faucets, pour chlorine solution into the freshwater tank filler spout, and complete filling with fresh water.
  3. Turn water pump switch ON. (Be sure you have 12-volt DC power.) Open all faucets individually until water flows steadily, then turn off. This will purge any air from the lines.
  4. Top off water tank with fresh water and wait three hours.
  5. Drain the entire system by opening all fresh water tank valves, faucets, and plumbing line drain valves.
  6.  Flush the system with drinking quality water. Let the fresh water flow through the system for several minutes to flush out the chlorine solution.
  7. After you stop the flushing, close the tank valve ' faucets, and drain valves. You can now fill the tank with fresh water, and the system is ready to use.

Fresh Water Tank

Completely drain. We suggest to turn the pump on until and leave the faucets open until the tank is empty.

Dumping

We suggest you open first the black water valves and after the gray water valves. It's okay to keep the gray water open when you're connected.  Only use holding tank deodorizer -- other types will dry out the valves. Single ply toilet paper only. USA Public RV Dump Sites

Please read our Holding Tanks page for more information.

Washing the Outside

To wash the sides of the RV, use car soap not dish soap. Pressure washing is not recommended, as you can force water through seams into the coach.

Refrigerator, Stove, Oven and Microwave

They must be with no food and clean.
