Breakdown of Fees

The renter acknowledges, in our rental office on vehicle pickup, by his signature on the rental agreement the terms & conditions of American RV Rentals.  He is responsible to keep the motorhome/RV in good condition, and is liable for all financial obligations he may incur against American RV Rentals.  When booking a motorhome/RV the person who ordered the rental service will be considered as renter.

Each person who is traveling in the same vehicle as the renter and who is authorized to drive the rented vehicle is considered as driver.  Authorization is given by American RV Rentals on vehicle pickup.  The driver must acknowledge the rental conditions by his signature on the rental agreement, he must present his valid driver's license, and he must be within the age limit constituted by California laws.  A driver may also be the renter, or the renter a driver.

On this page you will see how the breakdown fees work.  The following is a hypothetical trip that someone might take.

DESCRIPTION

FEES

If someone rents a motor home for 10 nights at a $100 dollars per night,
10 nights x $100 dollars = $1000 dollars
$1000.00

If someone rents 2 Housekeeping Kits:
$35 dollars per kit x 2 Kits = $70 dollars

As an example, if someone is going 3000 miles on his trip, he will get 100 free miles per night:
100 free miles x 10 nights = 1000 free miles
2000 miles x 0.32 cents per mile = $580.00 dollars
$640.00
If someone gets the Collision Damage Waiver CDW at $20.00 per night:
10 nights x $20.00 CDW per night = $200.00 dollars
$200.00
Collision Damage Waiver CDW  deposit is $500 dollars (this is fully refundable within 21 days of the successful conclusion of your trip). $500.00

There is a $250 dollar cleaning/security/light damage/etc deposit (this is fully refundable within 21 days of the successful conclusion of your trip).

There is a $500 dollar Down Payment at time of booking to reserve your motorhome/RV. $500.00

BALANCE DUE AT DATE OF DEPARTURE
